Meet Robert

Robert is an integral part of the Leamington tailoring team, bringing a thoughtful and approachable style to his craft. He has a strong eye for proportion and fit, ensuring every garment reflects the client’s personality as well as their lifestyle. Robert enjoys guiding clients through the process and making sure they feel comfortable at every stage. From business suits to casual tailoring, he values the balance between elegance and wearability. For him, the real joy of tailoring lies in helping people feel more confident and self-assured in clothes that have been made especially for them.

"With comfort comes confidence; be comfortable and confidence will blossom. I love Menswear from the 1940’s through the 1970’s, especially as featured in the early Bond films, and this has informed my personal style and how I carry myself. Being able to take cues from the from giants like Sean Connery and Cary Grant and to make our customers feel like film stars, suave secret agents, and, most importantly, secure with themselves, is something in which I take great pride"

What got you into tailoring?

I’ve always loved style and detail—it felt natural to make a career out of it.

Favourite project?

I enjoy creating bespoke coats—they’re statement pieces and really transformative.

How would you describe Leamington style?

Polished but relaxed—it’s a mix of tradition with a modern edge.

What’s most rewarding?

Building long-term client relationships and watching their wardrobes evolve.

I was recommended to Rob at Clements and Church by a friend who has used them often, to have a suit made for my wedding. The service was excellent and being able to pick my own materials gave me the flexibility I needed for my Italian wedding. The fit and finish of the final product is simply superb, and I even have the wedding date and our initials embroidered in the lining! The experience of having a bespoke suit made was fantastic.
