Summer threads

Following last summer’s dip of the toe into Kapok for our collection, we’ve leaned further into expressive style for Summer 2025. Our customers responded with enthusiasm to the beautiful shades, lighter structures, and elevated casualwear we introduced—proof that modern tailoring thrives when heritage craftsmanship meets confident individuality. This season, we’ve embraced that ethos with renewed purpose, reimagining summer dressing as the perfect balance of refinement and relaxed sophistication.

Threads

Looking back, last summer marked something of a turning point for us with our Kapok collection, it confirmed that the modern gentleman is no longer content with muted tones and safe combinations. Instead, he’s looking for pieces that tell a story—garments with texture, vibrancy, and personality. It gave us license to be braver with our cloth choices and styling this year, culminating in a collection that is both striking and considered.

Seersucker

One of the key fabrics this season is seersucker—an icon of warm-weather tailoring with a legacy as rich as it is practical. Originating in colonial India and adopted by the British for its breathability, seersucker became a symbol of relaxed elegance by the early 20th century. Worn by statesmen, architects, and tastemakers alike, it’s long been the thinking man’s summer fabric.

We’ve sourced our seersucker exclusively from Subalpino, a renowned mill in Biella, Italy, known for its innovative approach to traditional weaving. Their refined take on the cloth combines subtle texture with a modern handle, making it ideal for unstructured tailoring. It’s light, breathable, and carries just enough crinkle to keep you looking sharp without ever seeming stiff. Whether rendered in soft tonal checks or unexpected brights, it provides the perfect foundation for modern elegance in warm-weather dressing. Seersucker fits effortlessly alongside our Kapok collection to create the perfect Summer wardrobe essentials.

"This season’s silhouettes echo the spirit of sprezzatura—effortless charm with an edge. Think unlined jackets with a natural drape, pleated trousers that move with ease, and shirting in soft open-weave cottons and linens. There’s a deliberate looseness to the styling that speaks of summer days abroad, cocktails in hand, but always grounded in our commitment to craftsmanship."
