Dallas gets a taste of British bespoke luxury with Clements and Church private Spring showcase

Clements and Church, the purveyor of modern British tailoring and custom-made luxury, cordially invited guests to embark on a sartorial journey with a touch of British elegance for its exclusive Spring Showcase Event on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 atop the 20th floor of the Hotel Swexan, at Pomelo. The event was hosted in Dallas’ lively Harwood District, promising an immersive evening of Wimbledon style with traditional cocktails and bites, showcasing the epitome of custom-made luxury with modern elegance.

The British affair presented attendees with a private viewing of the Clements and Church custom Spring collection for men and women, with models and mannequins dressed in looks that would be fitting to be worn when attending the Wimbledon championships, one of the most stylish events in the British Social Season.

Dallas, Texas (May 28, 2024)

The space was decorated with tennis-themed floral arrangements by the creative mastermind behind Bottega de Flores, Nolan Kiser. Amongst the space laid the Et Cetera Magazine, a lookbook of the collection, which guests flipped through, enamored by its entirety.

Amidst the fashionable ambience, guests were treated to a traditional Wimbledon culinary and beverage experience. From sun up to dusk, guests stayed cool under the rooftop misters with refreshing themed cocktails featuring The Great British G&T and Wimbledon Pimm’s Cup. The culinary team at Hotel Swexan created the British-inspired menu, which included both elevated and traditional hors d’oeuvres one would find at London’s most prestigious tournament- tea sandwiches and strawberries and cream cups, to roasted tomato quiche with caviar, and smoked salmon crostini. The stunning views of the Dallas skyline were the backdrop of the event that melded bespoke fashion and culinary delights.

The evening’s attendees had the privilege of being among the first to preview the men’s and women’s 2024 spring collection. At the conclusion of the event, attendees were gifted an invitation to receive a complimentary pair of custom-made court shoes from Clements & Church, attached to a custom-decorated themed cookie from Bread Winners CafĂ© & Bakery.

Notable attendees of the evening included Kate Clapper, Billy Fong, Niña Barbier-Mueller, Meghan Looney, Jane Rozelle Humphrey, Alexis Barbier, Evan Meagher, David Eitches, Tom Addis, JB Hayes, Amy Green, Marisa Howard, Sharon Lee Clark, Max Clark, Katy and Parker Brooks, Melissa Pastora, Morgan Alfia, and Jennifer Tobin.
