The Crystal Charity Ball 2025: Dressing Dallas for a Night of Purpose

Clements and Church was proud to support the Crystal Charity Ball in Dallas once again this year, continuing a long-standing relationship with one of the city’s most prestigious philanthropic events. Renowned for its elegance, tradition and extraordinary charitable impact, the Crystal Charity Ball brings together Dallas’ leading families and supporters for an evening dedicated to funding vital children’s charities across the region.

This year our involvement took on a very different scale.

Rather than supporting the event in a traditional capacity, Clements and Church outfitted 75 patrons in bespoke black tie, providing custom tuxedos for the evening. The result was something truly special: the majority of the men attending the Ball were dressed by Clements and Church, creating a rare sense of visual unity and craftsmanship across the room. From classic peak lapels to impeccably balanced proportions, the evening became an understated showcase of British tailoring at its most formal.

Each tuxedo was individually fitted in the lead-up to the event, ensuring every wearer felt both confident and comfortable on the night itself. The fittings were overseen by Anna Moore and Josh Gear, who worked closely with patrons to refine each garment and ensure the final result reflected both the traditions of black tie and the personal preferences of each client. Their attention to detail — from sleeve length to trouser break — was instrumental in delivering consistency across such a large group, without sacrificing individuality.

Anna and Josh also attended the Ball itself, sharing the evening with the patrons they had dressed. Seeing the garments in their final setting — under crystal chandeliers, alongside evening gowns and white tie regalia — was a rewarding conclusion to months of preparation. More importantly, it underscored the role that clothing can play in moments of collective purpose: when everyone feels well dressed, comfortable and considered, the focus can remain where it belongs — on the cause.

"It was our pleasure to dress so many of the charity patrons for such a wonderful night. We have always loved to get behind charities when we can and this was such a great experience to give something back and help in some small way to help the charity reach it's goals, roll on next year we will be helping out however we can again I'm sure after such a great event. It was amazing to see so many of our tuxedos in one room it really did feel special to be part of the evenings events. "

The Crystal Charity Ball is not simply a social highlight; it is a cornerstone of charitable giving in Dallas, having raised hundreds of millions of dollars for local children’s charities since its inception. To contribute to that mission, and to do so in a way that directly touched so many of the evening’s guests, was a privilege for everyone involved at Clements and Church.

Supporting events like the Crystal Charity Ball reflects our belief that tailoring is ultimately about people — the moments they mark, the communities they support, and the confidence they carry into important occasions. Dressing 75 patrons for one extraordinary night was no small undertaking, but it is one we are proud to have delivered, and one that reaffirmed the power of craftsmanship when it is placed in service of something greater.
