Anna Moore talks Creative Direction for SS26
For the Spring/Summer 2026 season, the creative direction at Clements and Church takes us to one of the most cinematic cities in the world: Rome. Shot entirely on film, this campaign is a reflection of our philosophy of slow luxury – an approach to tailoring that values craftsmanship, patience and timeless design over fast-moving trends.
Rome was chosen not just for its beauty, but for its deep connection to sartorial culture. The city has long been synonymous with exceptional tailoring houses such as Brioni and the historic Roman ateliers that shaped modern menswear. Filming in this environment allowed the collection to sit naturally within a landscape defined by elegance, architecture and enduring style.
The decision to shoot on film was intentional. Analogue photography introduces texture, depth and subtle imperfection — qualities that echo the handcrafted nature of bespoke and made-to-measure tailoring. Just as a suit is cut, shaped and finished by hand, each frame of the campaign was carefully composed to capture the authenticity of the garments and the atmosphere of the city.
This behind-the-scenes look at the SS26 campaign offers a glimpse into the creative direction behind modern luxury tailoring. From the warm light of early Roman mornings to quiet moments between takes, the video reveals the slower, more deliberate rhythm of creating a campaign that reflects craftsmanship and quality.
At Clements & Church, every collection begins long before it arrives in store. Fabrics are sourced, silhouettes are refined and ideas are developed months — often years — in advance. The SS26 campaign in Rome celebrates that process, bringing together British bespoke tailoring and Italian elegance in a story of craftsmanship, heritage and modern luxury.
For clients who value custom tailoring, bespoke suits and slow luxury clothing, the SS26 collection continues the brand’s commitment to garments designed to last a lifetime.
