Our Ambassador Adam Peaty’s Star continues to rise. From the Tokyo 2020 Games, Adam has become the first British swimmer to defend an Olympic Title- yet another achievement in a long list of records. Five-time world record breaker, three-time world champion… the list goes on. He is simply the greatest breaststroke swimmer in history! We caught up with Adam to dress him, just before he accepted an award on behalf of Team GB at the GQ Man of the year awards.

What events did you compete in during the 2020 games?
I competed in the 100m Breast Stroke, 4×100 Mixed Medley, and the 4×100 Medley.
Sprint or Marathon?
I lived for the sprint; I liked a lot of pain in a short time.
Preparation?
Olympic preparation begins right after the last Games. As the event nears, mental preparation became crucial.
Travel companions to Japan?
I travelled with the team, and luckily, my parents were able to join me to experience Tokyo’s culture.
Enjoying other events?
Post-racing, there were sponsor events and parties, but I have always tried to support Team GB whenever possible.
